Sorry that just came out. No offense. What color are your bolts and hoses. Next thing you know @rrentrop will have bolt and hose decals.

Almost 2 years since you've done the interior lights to LED, have you any issues at all, and if so, was it corrected?

Installed a new grill. I think it completely changes the look of the front. I was going to install a full steel bumper, but with the grill I don't want to do a full black bumper now. (Which sucks because I already bought it) I ordered a streamline winch bumper with led cut out and center hoop only have to wait 8 weeks ugh. reduced size.jpg

I have had all my interior LED's nearly 2 years with zero issues. And I bought the cheapo set.

I felt that when stomping on the gas, the truck would struggle to find the right gear and hesitate, that is hugely improved now. I also find it holds 5th gear better when on the highway going uphill at up to a 6% grade with out needing to downshift and has the power to maintain speed or even slightly accelerate in the higher gear. It was always wanting to shift into 4th when I didn’t need all the rpm/engine speed that 4 would give me. When cruising at 60 to 65mph, staying in 5th gets me over the hill without needing 4th and I can use 4th to just pass.

When I get the RPMs up to almost 6K now this truck really does scoot and seems fast compared to some F250’s I was competing with to get to where a passing lane was merging on my last road trip. I had no problems out accelerating them. We were going close to 90mph.

As for mpg’s they seem to be slightly improved when I’m not having fun stepping on the gas. I’ve been using the 91 octane flash so not sure if that’s the reason for improvement either.

As for warranty Mathew said the ECU can be flashed back to stock and the dealer won’t be able to detect the flash modification.

Superb...had read so many different stories, some with issues, some like yours, no problems.... I'll be getting my truck in a few days,...I'm hoping for a no issue complete inside and outside LED bulb replacement.

Awesome write up! Thanks for the info I am getting dangerously close to getting this but still lurking seeing if there prove to be any problems down the road.

I would not go overboard on exterior LED bulbs without a lot of investigating. Reverse no problem. Fogs are not good with LED. Maybe with the $100 ones but cheap ones are only bright with no reach. Do your homework.

I like the sso bumper paint matched! Didn't think of doing that and might just steal this idea.

If you have been following the OVTune thread it seems that it has been getting progressively better with each update for the 87/91 octane auto tranny version. I am going in for my final free maintenance within 900 miles. Then I plan on buying whatever version is available. I think 1.02C is the latest greatest. Cannot wait. That money WAS going for a rear plate bumper which got pushed to the back burner.

Thanks for posting the bug deflector picture. I've been debating on whether it is worth it or not.

Don't take our comments personally. We tease. Thats what we do. Gotta have thick skin here. If you like your mods then that is all that matters. Most of us strive to be different. In that regard you have been very very very successful.

Lol. Can’t say I have gone to that extreme myself. :) I didn’t even do my climate controls Barcelona Red because I didn’t want it to be too much. I think I have the perfect amount ;) Who knows now. Might take some of these things now. Lol

Thanks for the detail, ill keep this mod on the back burner. Seems worth it, just always leery about these types of mods. I will continue to follow and will subscribe to the thread.

Thanks for the advice, have researched endlessly, and have made quite a few notes from forum members. Mine will be a TRD PRO, so no worries about the fogs....
