random question man, when you swapped the carpet, did it come with new floormat tie downs on both the passenger and driver sides?

i got weathertechs but accidentally got a set for 2012-15 Double cab, they have tie downs on both sides in the front, im gonna call them and see if i cant get the correct back one, but the dc one fits decently in the back.

also cant wait to see the roof rack mod. get on that so i can decide if i really want to go through with it :oldglory:

Sitting here looking through your thread... all I can say is WOW!! :hattip:
I'm so inspired right now. I want to get a lift or at least the front leveled soon so I've been doing my homework. Have you had any issues/ corrections since your install?

hmm. aside from fixing the squeaking leaf packs and periodic tightening of the drivers side uca bolt I haven't had any issues. I believe both of those parts have newer versions that fixed all that tho. hard to believe that was 5 years ago now tho.

This is an awesome build. I was just looking at the front end online and was wondering if anyone did it since I just bought myself a 09 Taco. Glad I found this thread....now to convince the wife. :angrygirl:

its a thing of beauty in swb right? toyota really screwed up not making the 12-15 in this color. I was the first, but there is one other im aware of, and yet another that's in the works from people that have seen my pics and build thread too. if you shop around for deals on parts it shouldn't cost as much as it did for me. but since ive had issues with aftermarket parts and poor fitment on a previous vehicle I wanted full oem parts, which ran up the costs more, but also went together factory tight and hasn't given me any problems either.

if your wife signs off on it, report back when its finished so I can see it!

Yea it was the TRD one. That one was sick. If you ever decide you were sick of your front end conversion and wanted to switch to a newer front end- I call dibs on yours. :fingerscrossed::santa:

found some presents waiting for me when I got home today: :hungry:

have always liked these fj sport rims, nice clean symmetry. deal was sealed when I figured out I could run them as is with my setup and ditch the spacers. (according to several dozen posts ive read here on tw) just waiting on the center caps to arrive then they are going on! (sometime next week) keeping same tires for now, only 6 years old and still in good shape.

also next week, wts spidertrax 1.25" spacers and sport rims ... used for mall crawling only

and my second battery died today... (10-10-17) should have had it tested yesterday after what seemed like a slow start, but I thought it was a figment of my imagination. only got about 2.5 years out of it. :(
