    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    I had it in good with my Company Gunny and never had to stand post on the weekends. I was a week away from PCS'ing and had already mailed my blues and stuff to my next duty station. I didn't want to go to the Ball so I volunteered to stand duty at the barracks that night and my 1stSgt had told me I would be there. Lets just say as a Sgt who had not stood duty for a very long time I found myself trying to recall my general orders before the night was through!

    Yeah he was, I honestly kinda felt bad for the kid. I remember people (myself included) trying to give him sound advice but him not seeming to wanna listen. I can appreciate him wanting to do it and all, but one should be open to good advice and or corrective criticism if you're serious about learning a skill well.
