one thing i've noticed, is that the older you get, the more frustrated and impotent you feel. when your young, you could kick that guys ass no problem. if your under 18 you get tried as a minor, and if your just out of college, no big deal if he sues you cause you got nothing he can have anyway. but when you get older, you get tried as an adult. you have a house and a car and a savings account. so you have to worry about breaking his nose then him suing you for everything you own. no to mention having a family and needing to show some self preservation for their sake. it sucks how the older you get the more you have to lose. i've felt the same way you did. wanting nothing more than to have hit the guy but knowing you shouldn't have. but still wishing you did....

Question, Why did you take the gun outside with you? Did you intend to use it? I say never take a fire arm to a confrontation something may happen that you'd not like. If your going to carry the gun plan to use the gun. Don't think your just going to scare someone, they may make you eat it or worse!!

 

Yeah, it wasn't that I couldn't dispatch the punk easily enough, it was consequences that I was thinking about considering I was armed and kind of the instigator...

 

Time for a million dollar umbrella policy for your family incase you do have to use the gun, don't show it unless your ready to pull it, cause who knows what the fug he's got...should have kicked his ass alittle bit for the push though.
