I have flashed it multiple times. 1.02b times IRRC. The button is not in (nor above) the slot. The dongle is lonely. I fear the carpet was vacuumed and the button was simply swept away. Lessons are being learned. Keep carpets trimmed. Watch for wayward buttons. Keep dongles happy.

Just read the instructions, it says not the ever let the truck shut off while reading or writing or else damage to the ecu may occur. I have the push button start and I know that after a certain amount of time in accessory/stand by mode it turns itself off (i dont know the time delay). Has anyone had an issue with this? Id be concerned that while reading (up to 20mins) the truck will turn on, maybe while writing as well.

While reading and writing, it'll be in ignition mode on with engine off and not in accessory mode. It will not shut off unless you press the push to start button to turn it off.

I can't speak to the tune but when I was programming for my Lexus key card thing it took 15 minutes for the erase stage. The truck stayed on the whole time. So it's good to at least 15.

Yes, the lid had some water on it too.

I used my work laptop in the past but now Windows Defender will not let the PCMflash software run. Don't know how to disable it or add exceptions. Service Desk has it locked down.

I tried using an old laptop at home but would not flash. Figured out USB ports were not up to snuff. This is my only option as of now. Any suggestions?

Turn Windows Defender real-time protection on or off
    1. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security.
    2. Select Windows Defender, then turn Real-time protection on or off.
    Hope this helps and works?

Works for my HP touch at home since its my personal machine - hence the improv. It does not work for my company provided laptop. It is locked down. Don't feel comfy asking IT to tune my truck for me.

It's flashed so we'll see how it goes on my commute tomorrow. :turtleride:

I loaded the 1.02C 87 oct "A" version this morning. After putting 200 miles on the tune with 120 of those highway miles and the rest city driving I can say that I love this tune so far. The change in shifting was spot on for me. Most of my highway driving was with cruise on and man did it feel perfect. Two thumbs up from this happy customer!

(I have had the 1.01B and 1.02 tunes on before this.)

That’s great news on the cruise control. In the past, it was almost unusable. Any hills on your highway miles in cruise? Did it hold gear? Downshift 1 gear? The 2 gear downshift was annoying
