OT for me the rest of the week. Didn't really want it but it's so rare around here. Might as well jump in on it.

Ya normally we would have a frost by now. It is like 65 out right now. I don't mind the warm weather during the day but I like cooler nights and morning.

It was a nice ride he said. He stopped in and asked these people across the street if the owners of the home were around. (The house we grew up in).
And one guy said "are you Bryan"? My bro said "yea".
He was a childhood friend of ours who we used to hunt with and neither of us had seen him in almost 40 yrs. My brother said he almost cried.

These pine trees were only planted for a couple years when we were kids. Probably 4 ft tall last time I remember.

My grandfather and my uncle's built this place. Late 40's early 50's if I remember correctly. Dug a full basement and set a trailer on one half and built a living area on the other.

    4 of 7 evenings.

I think I’m going to switch from Pandora to Apple Music. I have a 3 month trial with it now. I like pandora, but it seems to want to play the same damn songs all the time. Even with skips, I here a lot of the same shit all the time.

I was going to go to my brothers and copy all the music I let him rip a few years back, but he doesn’t have it anymore. With apple, I can download all I want to my phone, and play when I don’t have service. They seem to have a great selection, I have a lot of albums downloaded already. Today I made a playlist of rarer stuff, and stuff I wouldn’t want entire albums of. They had way more than I thought they would. I’ll have to burn a few songs I couldn’t find from my cds to get them on my phone, but that shouldn’t be a big deal.

Here’s my playlist I made if anyone’s interested, it’s still a work In progress, but I think I have a pretty good start :

4/5 I probably have 1tb of music mostly from a private torrent site. I rarely even listen to my ipod anymore. Mostly I just listen to local stations. I used to have Sirius when I was in the army. It came with my new taco but I never even activated it. Too many trees blocks the signal it always cuts out.

I can’t listen to local stations, if I listen to radio it’s usually AM talk radio. I got so burnt out on the same ole music over and over, we listened to it at work when I did construction all the time. That, and I’m of the mindset that most music made after 2000 is total shit, so I don’t listen to much new stuff.

I never activated my Sirius either. :notsure:

Ya I agree, most new music sucks. That's because I'm getting old according to my 21 year old cousin.

I listen to mostly sxm and Spotify. Both stream. I have about 1.5t of music mp3s from back in the day and my ripped cd collection. I’ve been meaning to connect it to my router for remote listening...

Mostly miscellaneous electronic mods.... -2 spare Electrical fuse blocks hard wired to the battery with a key on relay. -Hard Wired Radar detector over rearview mirror. -2 Dual Whelen Avenger blue LED emergency lights, one on each side of the rearview mirror. -EP911 Blue LED Light Bar & Traffic Advisor, Rear Windows. -4 corner amber strobes in stock lights. -Hardwired RF Scanner with external speaker under center console. -Huskyliner front splash guards -Fireband 2 way radio in center console. -Herculiner painted on hitch and skid plate. -Switch to power one 12v socket when truck is off. -AntiDark LED strip under hood with switch. -Timbren Rubber Springs - Rear -MBRP Offroad Cat-Back with Resonator -Duratrac's -Provisor -Color matched hood bug shield
i listen to the free streaming radio options on apple like NPR and CBS news. then switch over to free Spotify when i want some tunes. also have been listening to a lot of podcasts lately; "Planet money", "Death, Sex and Money", and "Ted Radio Hour" fill most of my driving time.

edit: on the boat the captain foots the bill for sirius/xm so that gets a lot of play time at work.

    Not to picky here.
All I have in the truck is local radio. We've got some good rock stations here. Or I might even throw a cassette or CD in.

Challenger is 16gb usb. Mostly consisting of the entire Slayer, megadeth discographies.
I hardly ever listen to music at home.

Hey all you night crawlers, I'm back with a 13 hour (11PM to Noon) overnight fish survey along the East River off Astoria, New York City.
We got a shitload of bay anchovies (800+), and we're not even close to 1/2 done with the shift.....

Just had to mention, I watched Green Bay beat Dallas on Sunday...SWEET!!!:woot:
