    I had a feeling...

The Toytec coils you linked, are they the 521600 2.5" lift coils? Seems like those might have a little too much lift for me given that I have no extra weight on the front.

Also, you recommended getting some 5100s but I already purchased '17 TRD OR takeoffs (shocks only) so I have to pair them with something that fits stock and won't lift more than 1".

no there the 1.6" lift springs and 620lbs the 112-620 plus there broke in. they will be your best bet for stock shocks and you will sit level or close to it. there not much different then the 4x4 trd sport springs. when I pulled my sport springs and put them on the length of them are only 3/8" different there just a little heavier.
you will see some lift in the front not sure how much. only recommended 5100's if you want more lift. if you don't want any lift just keep your current springs.

ok, thanks! Sounds they would be ideal for when I do add some weight to the front. It's not in my budget anytime soon but I hope to put a hybrid bumper on someday so I'll keep these in mind and maybe they'll still be available.

Got my rear shocks in last night. The ride is already so much better that I'm thinking of doing the fronts tonight. I want to be the first in line for alignment tomorrow morning so I can start breaking them in :bikewhoops:

    - Any good recommendations for alignment? I'm between Howe and Watt, off of Folsom Blvd (College Glen). I found Go Tires in Tahoe Park on Yelp, has some good reviews and only charges $40. But for some reason that seems too good to be true.

    - I'm also looking for a set of 1/2" top plate spacers, or 1/2" & 1/4". All that talk of swapping springs got me thinking I might as well level it some while I'm in there. Would be looking to pick up right after work (3ish).

Linville Bros. on El Camino. They do a lot of lifted vehicles. They spent a fair amount of time on my 4Runner and setting where I wanted. Truck drove much better after them.

Nice, that's fantastic actually. Reminded me that I need to go there because I can get a discount from them through my work.

    Thanks!

Toytec's 1/2" spacer set comes up same part number for 1st gen & 2nd gen so I'd say it should work. I have the parts in my truck now so we could match them up first.

What do you want for them, and are you available to meet this afternoon?

Yeah not looking for anything special, just reliable. Linville isn't open on weekends so I'll probably just go with what looks good on Yelp and is open.

FWIW, as far as trades, or even just hooking people up, I do vinyl graphics. I've been in the sign industry for almost 15 years, and I currently run the vinyl department for Ellis & Ellis Sign Systems. I also have access to CNC routers and other fab through other departments here.

Has anyone had any experience with Clark Frame & Wheel Alignment in Roseville? I had my Forester done there and was happy but I don't what their level of lifted truck/large tire competence is.

No worries, I understand that I can go up to 1/2" with spacers without any negative effects on my stock suspension. Figured I could get it a little more level but it's not a priority.
