It's also a manual transmission so it's not toooooo far off topic...

Here's a couple from the last trip we took down to Durango for a 3 day back roads camp and explore adventure with some other Bus people.

It's all stock except I recently built up a 1914cc to replace the tired 1600 and put some BFG KOs on it. The guy at discount tire didn't even know they made 195-75-14 size BFG KOs...

My girl's Rav4 has a Sport Mode button that makes the throttle much more responsive. Wish Toyota would include it with all of their vehicles.

Hello All. I haven't posted on here for a long time...
I went to a local dealership today to ask about 2018's. I'm looking to buy/order an SR ACLB Manual in Quicksand. The salesperson didn't know much but is going to get back to me. Has anyone ever ordered a tacoma? What was your experience?

SR 5MTs are not available in Quicksand. You would need to go with a TRD Sport With a 6 Speed to get quicksand in the ACLB.

Having the same issue with my Pro. Brought it in yesterday after a 1k mile road trip where it was driving me crazy (5,500 miles on the truck and noise started at 2k miles). They stated no noise and it was normal. Brought it back this morning after heating the cabin up till the noise started and had the service adviser hop in. He then stated he is going to order me a new pedal assembly. Doubt it will fix it but want to get it on record with Toyota before I start messing with it.

They did that for mine and about 10k later the noise is back. It feels like the pedal is loose. I'm not too sure on how or if it's possible to tighten it.

I can't believe they still have these creaky clutch pedal problems. Mine was horrible when it was new. I found two key spots to hit with white lithium grease (spray) and that took care of it.

As the years went by I had to reapply the grease less and less often. Right now I probably haven't reapplied it in years and can't remember the last time I heard a peep out of it. The offending parts probably wear down and rub together less aggressively as you put miles on the truck.
