I agree with your wife. I have glasses only, and astigmatism in both eyes. Night driving sucks

Explain night wheeling pics @ Rush.!.?.

I don't do much night wheeling any more because I'm old and would fall asleep at the wheel.

Back in the day (1980's) we did MOST of our wheeling at night.

May hand off my camera to you at some point. Want pictures of silver Taco... When we were at Rush, I finally figured out that you have to occasionally do something insane to get pictures, or else get stuck a lot. I'm up to craziness this time.

I would indeed if I had one. Still have the same handheld gimmick that I've been running. I haven't posted it for sale anywhere but mentioning it on here. If I sell it before the meet i'll have the 6.

Brent has more camera skills than most. I'd like to see what my camera can do in the hands of someone who knows how to make the best use of it. Funny thing, back in the Kodachrome days, I could take a fully manual Pentax K1000 and shoot incredible pictures. The newer cameras are lightyears ahead of that, but I'm out of practice and no where near as good with DSLR's.

I'm looking into buying a nicer Sony or Canon video camera. Mostly to shoot better video gigs I get and can charge a little more money for them (and also for way better self use)

Appreciate the kind words. A lot of it is just being in the right place at the right time and ensuring you're ready for the action. I spend a lot of time on YouTube trying to learn what the hell I'm doing. I'll see what I can do with the "other" brand. Matt might be better off as he is more familiar with Canon button layout.

After Harlan, I'll be ordering a 20" light bar for the front bumper, but that's about all I'll do (pointing forward) Probably do some flush mounts on the rear at some point, but no hurry there. Back in the party-like-a-rockstar days, we did a LOT of night wheelin'. Don't see that happening much at this point in life. May do a short run Friday night at Harlan. Thinking about Putney trailhead to Evarts trailhead, then back on trail #10 to Putney. That's about 90 minutes in daylight. The "big loop" through the park is more like 5 or 6 hours. Probably not gonna be something I'm interested in doing in the dark with somewhat of a beer buzz going!

I had an offer yesterday on my tires and wheels. Already have the SEMA wheels (17") and may just go ahead and buy new tires before snow season. Or not....Who knows. I already have 26K on the current one's. By 35K or so, they don't have much resale value. Also looking at 1 of 2 different roof racks in the very near future. Want black for contrast on roof. + Moab in April... And with THAT trip, may do Cooper STT MAXX instead of STT PRO's as much as I like them. Because many highway miles.

"Framing" a picture is 90% of the shot. I tend to get the subject any place but the center of the shot. Needing practice. Matt isn't going unless he's changed plans.
