Seems about right for SoCal Purchase. I am actually going to Hammer Toyota in SFV on Wednesday, they claim they can beat a quote I got from a NorCal dealer. I call bullshit but I guess I will find out Wednesday.

I checked in with them when I was looking, didn't have a quicksand, and that seemed to make them apprehensive. Congrats on the truck, hope your using it launch a bass boat into Champlain. I'd give a nut to live near it.

As my deployment comes to an end I am starting to reach out to dealers to get pricing. I know the 18's are about to drop and they are trying to get the 17's off the lot, so what is a fair price to get right now. I am looking for a 2017 TRD OR DCSB 4x4, P/T package and Tow package. Preferably a M/T but options are getting limited. I am seeing around 37k online but they always add the click here for real price. I am really hoping to get OTD for under 35k if possible.

you're looking MSRP listed around $38k I believe. great deals usually fall between the 8-12% off msrp range. that puts you at $33,400-$34,900.

Assuming you qualify for military rebate (-$500). That puts you at $32,900 best case scenario. I would set your goal $32,500 before TTL. All said and done you'll look at around $34,500 OTD. BOOYAH, go get it done. set the dealers against each other and get you a new ride cheap.

and thank you for your service sir.

First and foremost, thank you beers for your service! Love it when folks acknowledge our military and their sacrifice. Thank you as well behls! My hats off to you for setting a fine example for the rest of us.
$32,249 for mine. Sent out a dozen enquiries and not another dealer would touch it, including the largest car and truck dealership in the state while boasting a best price guarantee. Pfft to their best price guarantee!!
Oops almost forgot. Try going through Tru Car. Dealers like the one I went through are in their program. Dealers not in the Tru Car program couldn't even come close. It's worth looking at!

    sarcasm, I smell it.

I'd say with new year coming out 15% probably isn't out of the realm of possibility. I had luck with a very high volume dealer but that may have been a fluke and always no reason for you to step foot on a dealer until it's basically all said and done.

Thanks Bud. I won't lie it was a long hard road and I'm still getting phone calls from dealers but it was worth the effort. Now if they'll just stop pestering me. My phone blocker is working overtime.

    There was no sarcasm

I paid invoice +$300 for both my 16 and 17

On here people keep posting about dealer wanting more than msrp (which I never found To be the case)

Thus I am glad to see people getting 11% offf msrp as that is how it should be and what I found on the market

Misunderstanding then. I couldn't imagine having to pay MSRP. Maybe the Socal boys have to but their market seems all kinds of screwy. poor fellas. deals to be had for everyone else though.

My mistake and my apology. Obviously I misunderstood. Open mouth, insert foot. Glad they're only size 9's.

    Need help!
I am stuck between two dealers offers, one is local SoCal and the other is 7hrs away NorCal (was planing in getting a one way plane tic that would be free with miles).

    Local Dealer:Hammer Toyota
Tacoma TRD OR 4x4 Long bed in Quick Sand
Add on:tow package, mud guards, exhaust tip, and bed step.
    MSRP: 38,xxx
    Offer is 34,6xx

    7hr drive Dealer: Freeman Toyota
Tacoma TRD OR 4x4 Short bed in Quick Sand
    Add on:tow package, floor mats,
    MSRP: 37,xxx
    Offer is 33,5xx

I can't decide what offer is better, What do you guys think I should do?
