I'd just go with OEM under those circumstances, don't really see any need for a performance clutch on a stock daily driver.

What is the difference and what would last longer for my 4x4?

Skimming through the description on URD's website it sounds likes it's basically a beefier version of the stock clutch, it could be a better option if you wheel you rig. Definitely beneficial if you're boosted.

Beffer as in thicker plates, springs? And is the throwout bearing included in all that?

Yup. And they'll add the TOB in for another $150 so it's not included in the basic package.

If you were to suggest a clutch system because I've got over a hundred thousand miles on me and my throw out bearing squealing a little bit it's almost time for it to change what would that system be? I don't off-road a whole lot but I do use it and I do go to Sand so I do like to burn out.

Otherwise the truck is mostly used for working and picking up the kids from daycare and grocery shopping of course

Honestly I'm going to look into a performance clutch kit next time around...between my supercharger and all the 4x4'ing I do, it would suit me to have a heavier duty clutch. My first clutch on this truck had the TOB chirp so I had it replaced with the Competition Stage 2 clutch but it was a nightmare. Not so much the clutch itself but because the shop I took it to installed it backwards (long, frustrating story...) and it was toast within a week or two. In my haste I had Toyota put in an OEM clutch (which cost me an arm and a leg), here I am about 20k miles later and the damn TOB on this one is chirping again.

This time I'm just going to live with it until it needs to be replaced and then I'm going to look into another performance clutch, although I don't think URD makes one for 1st gens. In the time since my 1st clutch fiasco I've heard not so good things about the Competition Clutch brand so I'm going to steer away from them. I have heard good things about Marlin Crawler's clutch kits so I may look into that.

I have it. Grabs a little sooner, and harder than stock. Not as much feathering as stock, but 1st gear is pretty low in these trucks, so you'll be fine.
Having lived most of my life in So-Cal, I know the traffic all too well. This clutch would do just fine.

I like it. My truck is also modded pretty good, too.

I'm not supercharged so would you suggest the stage 2 with a new TOB? Or other?

URD TRUE CAI + calibrator, plenum spacer, long tube headers + full exhaust.
The truck is quick, for a taco.

I've had the clutch for a year now. I do everything- Daily driving, cross country, towing, off roading, etc.. probably 15k miles so far.
