    Yeah I'd looked into just buying the hood and scoop pieces and they weren't too bad! It's the paint that really drives up that price.

    no. One of my really good friends owns a custom car restoration shop. He can paint the hood for super cheap, or if I take him out to dinner.

    He painted my Element for material cost..
