    We have used lake junaluska campground and it was very good. Lots of rvs in the rv area, but no one in the campsites. Ended up being very private.

    Also very pro Christian since it is a Christian retreat, so mind your language and hide your booze!

    I just stayed at hot springs campground during the Overland Expo. Pretty nice spot right on the French Broad and the Appalachian trail is right there if you're into that.
