    After a while in development, I am happy to announce the release of my ECT 24-7 MOD.

    WHAT IS IT?
    This is a plug and play module that will Automatically turn on your "ECT PWR" button every time the truck starts.

    WHO CARES?
    Some people(like myself) like how the truck drives with the ECT activated.
    Providing smoother power delivery and more responsive throttle feedback. Unfortunately it is turned OFF every time you start the truck.

    SO.. JUST PUSH THE BUTTON!
    Why, when this does it for you:)

    I have also designed it so you can deactivate the Module by holding the ECT button(see video). This is beneficial for bringing it into the dealer for service, or when you let the Girlfriend drive the truck;)

    It might not look like it, but a ton of thought and design went into this little box. Some of the features;
    1) Mini computer(arduino) running a custom code to activate the ECT
    2) Custom designed PCB board
    3) Custom designed enclosure(with slot for cable tie to mount behind the dash)
    4) OEM male/female connectors for a simple installation
    5) All connections soldered and heatshrink for durability

    There will also be an extension wire with a "add-a-tap" fuse connector pre-installed that will tap at the lower fuse box(not shown)

    SOLD OUT. NO ETA FOR NEXT RUN.

    HOW-TO installation:

    Here is where the power is tapped;
    1nd row, 3rd from the front. It's a "15A labeled PWR OUTLET". This is a good ignition power to tap off of.

    Thanks. Even more beneficial with my OV tune, since he was able to map the ECU more aggressively in the ECT mode;)

    Ordered! This will go great with the Ovtune and I've actually been getting better mileage with ECT on.

    Seriously?

    I just ordered that tune and figured I'd be happy with it and wouldn't need to use ECT anymore.

    You don't NEED it with ovtune anymore...but with being able to enable or disable...you may one day get hooked on that ECT crack and need it then!

    its meant to be mounted behind the dash. It was only mounted out front for the video to show it working.

    "Some of the changes are tailored to ECT mode specifically."
    towards the end of post #1121

    No. it is meant to be tucked behind the dash. I just did this for display purposes only
