I was tagging a member to chime in on your topic. He has a 2nd gen also and has been researching headlights as well as doing a few headlight mods.
Edit. He also works for auto anything

I'm a bit confused by your question here.
OEM headlights would mean they're made by Toyota. No one else makes them but Toyota.

You could go the aftermarket route, when my headlights were due for replacement I went with a set of DEPO brand headlights that are OEM replicas. Been happy with them so far.

There's also aftermarket headlights like Spyder for example that are projector halo headlights. They don't usually have as good of light output but they look cool.

I think I have those. One fogs up with moisture in the winter and the adjustments don’t seem to do a fuckin thing. I got my $85 worth :frusty:

Any fogging/moisture issues? What is the lighting pattern like compared to oem? Adjustments work well? I am looking to replace mine... is this what you have?

I have the factory 2011 TRD sport headlights. Love them have kind of a black chrome look to them. These are not cheap though due to them being OE Toyota. There are a bunch of people who will do retrofits, BHLM, etc to give the headlights a facelift if that is your cup of tea.

Yep! That's the set I have (just they're $15 cheaper than when I bought them).

So far no issues, I've hit them directly with the pressure washer at the self car wash, no moisture or leaking yet. Haven't had them in the rain yet.

The light pattern is good, as far as I can tell it's pretty close to stock. Good throw of light and a fairly clean cut off for halogen headlights. They were aimed quite low out of the box but you can adjust them up.

You guys have done your duty as TW members, and inspired me buy something for my truck I don't need.

They have good reviews on Amazon, and will match my blacked out Depo tails.

They look sweet! I just put “oem replica” headlights from diften on my truck and they are absolute trash, I am in serious need of something else. Do you think you could snap a pic of the light output and post it when you have a chance?

Wow dude, you sure got your moneys worth out of those OEM headlights. It must have been like driving with candles on the front of the truck at night.

I think candles may have been an upgrade
I sold them for a 6pack, new owner actually got them cleaned up pretty well! So much happier with the new lights though.
