I was referring to the overloading joke on overlanding. Lol. In Maine we called it "stompin' " :p

It’s my favorite place for 24h at a time lol. One day I’ll win the lotto and get a fat bus so I can enjoy it for longer than a day.

    A thing or two...
Are 3rd gen front brakes the same as 2nd gen? If they are, you could look into doing the 4runner front brake swap. I'm planning on doing the swap when I get around to doing my install. I'm also planning on getting the SOS Performance rear kit.

Don't worry, all of those people are likely in crippling debt and will be for a long time. They take a loan out on a $35,000 vehicle, max out all of their credit cards over the course of a couple months "Expo-ing it out" and then in a year or 2 they will realize they aren't really into back country car camping and they were just jumping into a fad because they wanted to feel "adventurous". Then they will attempt to sell their truck and camping crap only to realize none of it is worth what they paid at the beginning.

I'm not sure if the 2nd and 3rd gen are the same brakes but I'm gonna research it now for sure

And yeah the BBK is def on my radar
I just feel like the front isn't stopping for crap now and the back has never really felt like it was doing much unless you're ripping that ebrake haha

Did the stop tech extreme kit first, then went BBK. I tow a 4000lb boat plus heavy as fuck full armor and 305/70/17 tires.
The BBK made a noticeable difference over the the other kit. Worth the money if you can afford it. I have only heard one good review o the doing the rear and read lots of its not worth it. Bad reviews.

    Go BBK if you can.
The stop tech kit is an improvement but not by much. The tundra upgrade might be a bit cheeper but not by much.

I have been “overlanding” a few times with Toyota groups in NM and CA. All the same. A lot of talk before the trip, then a lot of group pics and drone videos and talk about what is best for this and that. Then they all do easy trails and get pumped when they cross 2” deep streams... I always found myself bored. I know not all are like this but most seem to be... it’s a fad.

Oh and what’s the difference between Instagram and web-wheeling here. Same shit different pot.

Just in time for me to swoop in on it after I decide to turn my truck into my go fast and hard machine and maybe I meet someone and have to camp a little more civilized out there in the wild.

    Muahahaha lol

I'm interested to find out how many hours you log installing the complete cage. Just for curiosity's sake. :)
