I'm all about the dual purpose truck - it's all good. I almost asked if you sc'd your engine, but then I remembered you have the 3.5. What's up with performance mods since I know you got ideas for that lol.

    That's me.

    Weekend before, I'm assuming?

Yo. Tundra upgrade in front, custom shit in the rear. Manual master cylinder set up for left foot braking, I can still lock all 4 tires on dry pavement.

What rear setup and master cylinder? Planning some mods for that too. I read a me out of a T100 would improve braking as well.

T100 will NOT improve your braking. I tried it. Made it worse.

Not unless he wants to be dodging rzr’s all weekend :burnrubber:. They’re doing camp rzr the weekend prior. Pretty cool if you’re in a rzr. Not so cool if you’re not.

Glad you stepped in then. Thank you! Any mods that are worthwhile from your experience? The manual bpv seemed like a good idea.

    Yeah I think that's a good one.

Also as your a 98. I'd try and swap to a single diaphragm booster and the smaller master cylinder from the 01-04 models. Then you'll see a big improvment

Noted. Thank you. When I swap my axle I'll probably do that all at once since I'll be messing with them anyway. Are you happy with the bpv that you chose?

I have an extensive write on the brake swap and such in Igor's build for future reference.

Pretty happy id say. Need to clean it and re tighten some of them. Leaks a bit, not much but enough for the MBPV to be covered in dust.

I got the FROR kit. Which is just a Jegs MBPV and FROR adds all the adapters you need.

Hey LT/ MT experts... IS there any reason not to get Extended travel coilovers when purchasing for the build? Outside of the fact you have to also buy a UCA ..... Seems there is only benefits.. IS there a reason I should not get Extended travel coilovers?

You should run limit straps as cheap insurance. But the benefit is upgrading to aftermarket UCA. Usually those with standard travel coils don't upgrade their UCA because it's not necessary. And extended travel really only nets an extra .5" droop after it's cycled and strapped
