Just wanted to share my small sub/woofer idea. I wanted a little more bass to my system and not spend a lot of money or rip out the storage liner behind the back seat. What I came up is NOT competition and some might consider it a k-mart install.

I took a JL audio 6w3v3-4 6.5 sub and put it in a small box and located it behind the center console. The sub fires downward. It is being powered by a sony xm-1s mono amp. The box is removable: to raise the long back seat bottom.

It sounds good enough for me, I'm just trying to find a good crossover point to match the other speakers in the truck. My deck has a separate sub control and a built-in 7-band eq I am using to manipulate the xover point.

I really like the fitment and top handle, looks very sturdy and a good way to add a little bass to your rig.
