That trick is rather useless since you can't use the screen and must use the phone. People do not need to be dickin around with their phones while driving.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Trouble is that a hell of a lot of people do just that. Here is another observation -- a great many dumb-asses hand hold their phones in very new cars and trucks that I would bet anything are "blue tooth equipped???? WHY?

Force of habit. They've gotten so used to holding the phone it's become habit. They'll start using the hand free hopefully before they get a ticket or worse have an accident...

I used the gps for the first time the other day. They voice was very low and could barely hear it. I think I found where to increase the volume but haven't tested it.
Is there a way to get the guidance voice to override the radio? The radio really drowns it out.

May have been mentioned, didn't see it but I figured out today that if you hit the pause button on the upper right side of the HU it will mute the sound.

Thank the for this, I'd pulled every fuse and relay, pulled the bulbs, slamming my head against the wall on why the dome light wasn't coming on... it's in the friggin settings. The previous owner had them set to off. I'm going to go bury my head in the sand if anyone needs me.

I just installed the ever popular Prinsu rack. I did a video on the how to. The first few steps will be similar for any brand that uses factory mounts.

and TGIF too (Taco Glad It's Friday)

not bad. the key is that molding on the bottom of the windscreen. I've heard without it, it's pretty loud.
