we have stayed on the road and also in the campground. but we stayed in the campground when it was dead empty and we couldn't find anyone or any indication as to what we should pay, so we didn't. it wouldn't be much though I wouldn't think. google North Mills River Recreation Area. the road leading through that area is Yellow Gap road. there are designated camping sites all along the road which are first come first serve. another name along that road is wolf ford. I assume its just a road with camping on the side too. theres all sorts of side roads and such to get lost on too which is fun.

Also, found out that my lugnuts no longer fit in my lug wrench. thanks a lot Mr. Mechanic Pants. :annoyed: luckily I just have a slow leak right now and I didn't go ahead and pull the nail out.

One got put on initially. Never took it off because "fuck dropping skids". Had it taken out when gears and lockers went in last week. No difference in any type of feel and no noticeable difference in CV angle before or after. YMMV

I was told by the guys at discount tire that my (lug) nuts are swelling, and dont fit the 21 MM nicely anymore. will need new non swolen nuts. apparently ours are plated or something, and they corrode / swell from the inside.

edit, they said its fairly common with us and the derges

haha true! funny story, my wife, then girlfriend, left my heated seats on over the course of 3 nights camping in the middle of that road in the middle of the winter. we didn't see anyone for a couple of days before which was nice. I come to crank the truck up to explore some and nada. not even a click. 12 degrees, coupled with a drained battery had killed the old battery. luckily not too of a walk I ran into a fellow taco whos owner was out for a bike ride. he gave us a ride into town so I could buy a new battery. it took 6 hours and 3 hitchhiking successes to get the battery back to the truck. still one of our favorite stories.
