Nice work! Good to see neighborhood watch at its best.

My neighbor caught some copper thieves the second day she lived in her house. She thought it was odd some guy was walking into one of the houses under construction with bolt cutters. She drove down and said "can I help you"..dude took off running and my other neighbor chased him down and tackled him. Then his accomplice took off in the truck. She got the tag number and the cops picked him up about 2 miles away. Luckily the sheriff's substation is about 300 yds from my subdivision. They cut all of the wiring out of the house literally about an hour after the electrician just left.

:frusty: wonder if the d-bag tried to sue for getting tackled? lol im sorry but if i was a judge in one of those cases, that gavel would be thrown across the room and id make damn sure it hit anyone that thinks they can do that, right in between the eyes.

thats in a perfect world though... cant mistreat the criminals around here.

Fortunately he didn't sue. He was some meth addict looking for some quick cash from the copper in the wires. The electrician had just wired the house that day. The funny part was my other neighbor was sitting on his back porch and he said all of a sudden some guy came running through his backyard with my other neighbor chasing him.
