    Just use a heavier spring. Or even no spring. If you are able to flip the bracket you could even ditch the spring and use a fold down hinge to hinge it into the bed unless you use the CB all the time.

    You want that spring in the woods! Mine has been in some tight spots and I've watched it flex A LOT! Could've broken without a spring.

    Ah. I was surprised mine made it through Rush. Sounded bad. Worked good. The hinge doesn't allow for a spring.

    My radio antenna makes a racket! Polly hates it, freaks her out. I think it's just the sound that it makes stresses her out for some reason.
    CB antenna has no affect on her
