That's a deal. Hollow points are always better IMO just because it's a better impact round. I rather have a shit ton of hollows then balls cause when shit hits the fan which do you want more! I might get this

Correct. If you're stockpiling for SHTF then definitely want the hollow points. If just for target practice, I wouldn't waste them.

My AR9 is just about done. Just waiting on an arm brace. Been testing mags. The ASC mags seem to be pretty tight. I found that if I just file the inside of the lips and on the place where the bolt catch catches they work much better. I mean very minimal filing too. I could barely cycle the bolt on one, it became my sacrificial lamb. I lightly filed the inside of the lips or whatever they're called and magically bolt cycles nice and smooth. Also last round bolt open works perfect too. It's been a learning process with this build. I'm using an Anderson lower and a KAK magazine adapter.

I have to figure out how to register this with Michigan as a pistol. Anybody done this before? When I bought the stripped lower I believe my FFL labeled it as "other" not rifle and told me I have to register it once it's finished.

I had the same issue with my ASC 9mm mags, filed down and they're flawless.

Yeah, I did some searches and there's really no info out there about these mags. Figured it's worth a shot since they are so cheap. All I ever found was that they didn't work well.

Also, be careful how much you file on the mag catch slot. If you go to high, your mag will fit lower and affect the LRBO.

I didn't file the mag catch, I filed the red lips down (vertical) and thinner (horizontally) to make them work properly, used 10 rounders as the dummy mags and perfected the technique on the 32 rounders.

I got them because I use the ASC 6.8 mags for my deer rifle, figured they would be quality but I was slightly disappointed.

Better to ask what I have not done.
Its to direct the blast forward and out. No recoil reduction thats why you will see mainly only on 223 or 300blk, it gives the shooter a perceived quieter muzzle report. Also keeps hands safe from blasts on shorter barreled pistol ar15's and sbr's

So close. Looks like a got some adjustments to do to the mags. I have a different lower coming. My FFL found me an Anderson stripped lower marked for pistols. SB Tactical arm brace should be here next week. Still trying out differenf mags to see whats best. I've learned that C mags are very inconsistant.

Since I bought a different lowrr, I get to make a rifle out of the spare.

Did you just want the engraving on the lower to say pistol so it matches what you built? There's no legal difference between a stripped lower regardless of what is engraved into it.

Anybody polish the feed ramp on their ARs? Just just polished the mag well adapter feed ramp on my AR9. Surprised how simple it is. Just a Dremel with a polishing tip and some polish. Hope it helps with any feeding issues I may have. Good rainy day project.
