    Since partnering with Texas Overland, the expo has become increasingly overland focused. Last year was also small. I think I spent an hour, maybe two there. Habitat Offroad was the primary vendor. There were also a couple expo trailers on display as well as a few RTTs. A dealer for Airstream even showed up with the (then) new Basecamp trailer. I believe their goal is to be the Overland Expo of Texas. Seems like they're moving that direction with not only more vendors this year but also some classes/talks. Seems like there's a lot more hype for it this year but I think the vast majority of attendees will likely be TO members. I'm not sure how much traction TAO has gotten in other communities.

    Had one around the same size in my drive during Harvey. Never seen a wolf spider that big before. Definitely wtf. Let it live though. I'd rather have spiders than mosquitos
