Anybody have the link for the window controller in the door? My window won’t go up again so I’m just gonna order a new one seeing it’s still pretty clean.

    I’d look but I’m in a hurry

If done right, it shouldn't be a problem.

Sometimes you can damage a seal though from the heat which can let shit in and damage the bearing.

That said, these trucks are very old. Most need new wheel bearings by now anyways. So if you can, it certainly wouldn't hurt to do gussets and then put in new bearings.

It's called a "Power Window Master Switch", OEM will obviously be a highway robbery but aftermarket ebay units are pretty affordable.

I would leave them in while you gusset the spindles, then take them to a machine shop to be replaced afterwards. That way you don't have to go to the shop twice :p
Also keeps the bearing seat from getting boogered while they're out.

Anyone have a problem with bugs getting in there trucks this time of year? The other day I was driving and 2 bees flew out of nowhere, you can image how that was. Today I've had to get Atleast 5 flys out while driving.

I don't leave my windows down or open. I don't know where they're coming from. It's become more noticable the last few weeks... maybe it's just the time of year.
