I got all sorts of cheap mods, but my favorite, and most useful is the "Bed Mat" mod.:D
Or maybe my custom shifter handle?:p

Some of my favorite quick, cheap, and easy one's:

Convert dome and map lights to LED. Ten times brighter, way easier to read at night in the truck.

Lockable center console. I put a false bottom in mine as well.

Respraying the bed liner. Bought three cans of bed spray at pep boys for $8.99 each. Made the bed look new again.

Chopping the exhaust pipe so that it doesn't show and won't get damaged off road. Truck looks way better without it.

    Remove mudflaps

And one that I haven't done yet, sew the rear seatbelt receivers to the rear seat, so every time you fold the seats to access the storage back there your seat belt buckle receivers don't disappear. I hate it every time someone gets in the back seat they always have to ask "where is my seat belt thingy" and I have to pull over so they can get out, get the thing out from under the seat, and put it on.

Painted stock rims flat black took me 2 days but it turned out sweet.

First mod I plan on doing is replacing the orange LED's behind the dash of my 06. Really can't stand them... Although the map light/dome light one sounds like an obvious idea. Might search a little for that too...

Centercaps on the KMC Enduro wheels. The centercaps don't fit because of space restrictions so I cut them down and used molding tape to wedge them in.

Camper top with racks, Custom fogs behind lower bumper. Interior LED lighting, Rock Lights, Hella 500s with upraged bulbs behind black billet grill, AAL, Front 5100s
Thanks for the idea. Did a little research on this and the largest MagLight that will fit in there is the 2-D Cell. Bought one and popped in a LED bulb I had lying around and bam!

Its too heavy for the spring in the door, but I can take care of that later if I want. I don't care if it stays up anyway except while I am using the light so that I can put it back which it does.

    MX,
Can you describe the "false bottom" mod that you did to your console? That's a great idea - How deep did you make it and how do you pull it up to access the contents?

What have you guys been doing to silence the seatbelt chime? Why would you want to sew the seatbelt recievers to the seat back if there are factory pockets for them?
