Got my mom to go try it out today. She enjoyed it and said she will sign up for a month to try it out. We did:

    20 burpees
    50m run while holding a 20kg plate
    15 burpees
    100m run while holding a 15kg plate
    10 burpees
    200m run while holding a 10kg plate
    5 burpees
    400m run while holding a 5kg plate
    2.5 burpees
    800m run while holding a 2.5kg plate
Had to have all your plates properly stacked, then had another 400m run
    Did it in 14 something

HOLY SHIT! Damn dude! I tried to get my mom into it, just wasn't for her, yet she liked it? I dunno. Next I gotta get the wifey into it, she thinks it's crazy, but back in the day she was doing BB to try and be a fitness model...go figure. She doesn't understand the scaling I guess and complains she doesn't like working out in front of people. Plus she just like running now

Sorry, that was my time :D. She did it in 20 mins without the final 400. She kicked some butt, I was really proud of her.

That's a lot of burpees actually. Burpees and jumping pullups are two of the relatively sneaky exercises that can cause rhabdo. Make sure she eats clean (think zone or paleo) and drinks plenty of water. Probably a gal or atleast half her bw in oz

    Damn, nice!

    Good stuff.

I'm back on board once I get off work this morning. Hit the trails a little this weekend, but mostly took some much needed R&R to help clear my mind and such. Biggest accomplishment of the day: 1 diet coke, 4 waters.

I've wanted to go for a couple of months now but the places near me charge $150 a month PLUS a $180 "initiation fee". Bullocks if you ask me.

Don't know what that initiation fee is all about but $150 is the norm for a monthly membership

Compared to what my normal intake is, that is pretty much eliminated.

    Today's workout:

    3 sets - 15:20

    10 Burpees
    20 Lunges
    20 Sit-ups

My thoughts:  I was pretty pissed that I could only get in 3 sets before having to stop and get ready for work. Had too much to do in too little of a time frame. I'm more upset in how much that crap hurt! No more multi-days rest!! Good news of the day-> no Diet Coke

I didnt go today, but on Monday we had a strength day, we did 5-5-5-5-5 backsquat where you keep the same weight. 75% of your max, got 225 without failing, I was really surprised.

Trust me, I hear you. I have noticed a huge jump in my strength, except for upper body. That is still my huge downside.
