Haven't decided what my setup will be yet but for convenience I'll either go with Dakars since they come with the BP-51s/Nitrocharger packages or I'll go with Deaver U402 expo packs.

My rear bumper probably weighs close to a 150lbs, then add in 50lbs for the spare tire and 3 Rotopax cans and a canopy and I'm probably pushing 350lbs constant weight. My stock leaf pack is sad :(:anonymous:

I carry very little weight standard and the ride is a little stiff but not bad. When I'm loaded for camping as a family of 4, it rides great and still rides level.

I've heard that those packs are only really good for long travel setups, and you need a serious shock to control it because it's so flexy.

I'm eventually going to drop the dough on my dream setup, and I was thinking about getting back some of the factory rake with a set of OME EL095R Dakars w/ the 3rd leaf removed. Supposedly that is right in the neighborhood of 1.5 (actually more like 1.3" because it's 2" minus 15mm). Or maybe I should just leave all the leaves in.

Right now the shopping list is looking something like this:
Fox 2.0 shocks all around (resi rear) with front coils set to something like 2" lift
    JBA standard UCA's
    Wheeler's superbumps all around
    OME Dakars
    U bolt flip
    BAMF reinforced shackle mounts
OEM Off-Road Sway (already have it laying in my garage, maybe get a disconnect fabbed on it if I'm really looking for that extra articulation??)

I don't know if I would have to spring for extended brake lines with that, but I guess that's not that huge of an expenditure if I do. It's meant to be a really tame weekend warrior type of build- very mild mannered and smooth on the street but able to take it almost anywhere a prerunner can go.

I don't think they would be good for long travel.

Right @snowsk8air2 ? Go big or go home?

Jk. I'd do dakars if I were you. You can take the overload leaf out.

Well I'm on my 3rd go around on suspension, so from experience, yeah go big or go home. Wish I would've had a chance to play around/ ride along with some long travel trucks a few years ago. Wouldn't have saved me much money, but some headache.

Drove 748 miles from my home to Layton, UT today, solo. Witnessed 2 rollovers, got myself a flat tire in the ST Maxxs, and realized I forgot my socks at home so I need to buy some. Going to spend the night here and then get the tire plugged in the morning, then drive the remaining 200ish miles to my Grandpa’s.

    It’s been a long day!

For me at least it's the best shot at a genuine Philly Cheese steak sammy. Local places do give it a nice solid try but not many do that insanely thin shave that the genuine Philly article has. You start it with super thin steak and then chop the shit out of it while it's on the griddle (adding onion and mushroom if that's your deal, I just throw black pepper on the pile of meat)

Then once the meat is done you flop your cheese of choice on top, let that sit for like 30 seconds while you pull your long roll open, put the roll on top of the pile, then slide your spatula thing underneath and flip the whole assembly over.:drool::drool::drool:

I've got rub. Removed my mud flaps to see if it would help, it actually made it worse. Instead of a smooth mud flap to rub against, it's now running cab mount. Hopefully Johnny can help Sunday. :fingerscrossed:

Also, any recommendations for a lifetime alignment place for Sunday? I'm not sure if Sears still does it

Just had Avid do the cab mount chop. Can hardly tell anything was done. Very clean.
Firestone has the lifetime alignment on sale for $169.
