    ^ I found some flat black spray gun paint but it is for painting houses and are not too well suited for cars. I can, however, do a really good rattle can job if you want...

    Blackhawke88 what kind of prep work is needed to ensure the paint holds well? Do you scuff the chrome with anything to allow the primer to hold better? Too bad you so far or I would have you do this for me. I want to talk to a shop and see what they will charge me and if I get any pushback on it not attaching atleast I will have something to say about the prep to make it work.

    I sand the chrome with 180 grit and then finish up with a 220 grit that gets rid of all the shine and slickness of the chrome for better adhesion.
