Considering a derping of the scoop this weekend, i think it will look pretty good and tie in the black.
Ive been meaning to re spray the mesh insert anyhow.I was also contemplating an amber led behind the mesh to tie the 2 ditch lights together.

Anyone have amber ditch lights and an amber light bar in the scoop?

my vote is "hood scoop blackout decal"

it's more durable than derping.....and easier to reverse

As soon as I get around to it I plan to undercoat my hood scoop. I personally dont care for the LEDs though, at least not for my rig.

Wtf is deep? Is that supposed to be plastidip? The website is DIPyourcar.com not DERPyourcar.com.

Sorry for the rant, just sick of people calling it derp. No offense intended to the OP!

I'd go with a decal. Ive never seen dip turn out good on anything but emblems.

IMO dip is a white trash mod.

Make sure to use glossifier, it’ll look much better than the fade black/grey look.

Hey @cvisinho, I was looking at the front end of rig a bit more, really like what you've put together. As I was checking out the grille I recognized that combination plate! Where are you located? I'm up in Burrillville, I've got the same truck as you and wouldn't mind meeting up one day to check out your mods.

Do decals even exist for the 2nd gens?
I have a love hate relationship with dip also.
However, i wouldn't have thought i would like black wheels so much until i tried it out last winter. Liked the way it looked so much i just left it.
Other side of that coin left my current wheels damn near brand new underneath, so when i flip them ill get decent coin.

You can get a custom one made from a decal seller. A lot of tint guys also do decals.
