    Yep. If they were original, they were like to fail soon anyway. The extra flexing from the added angle just finished them off.

    Rough up the axle where the clamp clamps so that it can't slide as readily? Or a dot of jb weld on either side or in the middle for something to hold onto

    @Bubbles

    There will be all female Scout Troops, with female leaders. Won't even be called Boy Scouts. Females will not be camping, or anything else with Boy Scouts. Cub Scouts will have all female Dens, and/or Packs.

    Both programs will parallel existing Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs. And yes, Girl Scouts are pissed!

    My opinion aside- that is exactly what 90% of respondents in multiple surveys wanted. Also what consultant Educators and Child Psychologists recommended. Who knows about the uniform.

    All this is a result of demand, not a forced directive from BSA national.

    Also "Venture" Scouts- age 14-21 always had boys and girls. While boys in Venture Scouts are allowed to earn Eagle, through Boy Scouts, girls were not. Venture Scouts do more high adventure stuff.

    That's what I've been hearing. GS got caught sleeping. If you can't beat them, join them. I smell a merger coming.
