Northern Virginia Roll Call

When I was in VA, the legal limit was 50% front and 35% rear. They don't check it on state inspection though. This was back in 2014, so YMMV

Edit: IMO 35% front and 20% rear is perfect. I've done this on all my cars and loved it. Everyone I've recommended it to has loved it as well.

 

I think that is correct. I looked into it a while back but never did mine. I know they can pull you over and use a tint check device if they look too dark. I would probably just want the front windows to match the rears.

 

Id do 30% on the front and limo if that’s true on the rears

Using this site if a truck counts as an SUV or VAN then it looks like we can paint the rear window and rear door windows black if we want and do 50% on the front doors.

That's what I gathered as well from reading the code after David mentioned a difference.
