First off, welcome to the forum. Now for the issue of the moment, the dealer who told you that is full of crap! It will fit like a glove, also if you want to save a little money there is a replica pro grille on eBay for $200 but you have to buy the letters separately.

Thanks for clarifying. I also asked about the TRD PRO Front Skid Plate Pro and they said that would not fit on a Sport. Part# PTR6035160. Any truth to that?

I hope you don't get anything from that dealer or service. I'd be scared to go there.

All the parts fit. Forget the dealer and just get your info from here. Those guys aren't enthusiasts, they are salesmen. Only a few salesmen also know their product.

Like everyone else said it will fit but to me not worth the cost, I would definitely go the eBay route.

Nice looking truck man! My 2nd gen was Super White, just make sure you wax that bad boy. I did not and the paint faded pretty bad.

The dealership looks up vehicles by VIN number and tells you the part numbers that the database tells them, they don't know any better that you can mix parts across the submodels. Just FYI everything across all submodels are interchangeable, except when it comes to electronics and premium tech options. But for the most part anything thats on the PRO will fit on your Sport.

Your truck has a single stage paint so not clear coat so make sure you wax it atleast once a year, other wise it will end up like my 2nd gen did the paint looked chalky. That is why my lazy ass got blue this time around.
