only thing i can think of is 2 different gear ratios between the front and rear. no matter what you shift your x-fer case to, the rear is always engaged. so you should accelerate just the same in the front no matter what UNLESS the gear ratios are different. or even possibly different sized tires/wheels.

To check gear ratio as the link I posted shows. You'll need to lock it in 4x4 and trans in neutral and jack up 1 front tire and 1 rear tire(assuming you don't have posi trac) If you do have a rear posi, you'll need to jack up both rear tires. The reason for doing it this way, is the front ADD axle needs to be locked in.

I thought I read something on here about the actuator/solenoid thing sticking or something to that effect. Maybe thats the issue?

That wouldn't make it bind up.

I checked my vin and it’s supposed to be a 4:10 and I checked it this weekend and I have a 4:30 in the rear so I’m guessing that’s the problem

sounds like @CodeSeven and @mechanicjon are right. You could either switch the front to 4:30 or revert the rear to 4:10, otherwise your front tires will want to go faster than your rear :)

finding a locker 4:10 is going to be harder and a little bit more expensive if none are in your area.

also keep in mind it will slightly alter your speedometer. not sure if the PO changed the gear that registers it or not. also depends on the size of your tires
