    That is not even a thing. There should be seals on both sides, the knuckle and the cv axle.

    My guess, counter guys need to be more responsive to differences in terminology. Your truck doesn't have a spindle technically.

    They just need to design a larger oil pan, so you don't run out of oil over 5-6k miles........ The only downside would be the cost of 10 quarts of 0w-20......

    Luckily the wife's subaru doesnt consume any oil..... But it did get a new CVT at 30ish k miles....
