I toasted my cool buckets on the 1st lt truck. My 1st gen already had all the gussets and bypass so never had an issue

So your first gen is still alive with guessets and bypasses right? My assumption is my kit is even more critical than most to have bypasses as it is designed to use the stock bumps, which like you said will go if you hit the threshold so the bypasses will be needed. My goal is to tank my shit up long before it sees any air.

This is what my icons look like. I need to clearance my coil buckets for the fitting. Are you sure those arent first gen LT coilovers somehow modified to fit a 2nd gen?

Def get that top spacer to help out with keeping the coil bucket flat on top.

And this it why I run hydro bumps, but its not like they are needed or anything  I mean why would you want to slowly reduce wheel speed and provide a definite end to travel without putting any extra stress on your shocks or mounts

I actually have some Toytec (not sure if 1/2 or 1/4") top spacers. I guess i just need to find some longer bolts that that thread into the icon top hat.

Most LT manufactures dont recommend aftermarket bumpstops

Ah ok nice man. I was under the impression most do recommend hydros up front with the exception of TC, but there could be others. I remember talking to Pat about it back in the day.
