Sooo everyone thinks flicking is beating someone up? lol

I guess I beat up 200 kids in elementary school...

or maybe flicking is a new slang word for something else.

Oh hell no, I would have just clocked him on the side of his POS head. I have no tolerance for any man hitting or abusing a woman. Unless she fights back like a dude.:goingcrazy:

Have any of you yahoos ever pulled your weapon on someone or been pulled on, Military and Law Enforcement excluded, Let alone shoot at or shot someone or have been shot at? My guess ...Not. Because if you have and are mentally stable you would be singing a different tune. Some of you guys use the phrase "real man". A real man protects his OWN at all costs. I didn't read that his family, his person or even the punks girlfriend life were in danger.

Long story short. Roll up on similar situation that pakerfan describes, only stray bullet kills woman in house, after ballistics test....husbands gun. Guess who the good samaritan was.

In case all you yahoos start chiming in about rights and shit. I carry 12hrs a day and carried everyday for 18 months. So save that BS for someone else.

You can look the other way all you want pal. I had the balls to do something about the situation.
I'm sure if your sister or your daughter was the girl in this story you'd appreciate someone putting a stop to it immediately instead of letting it go on for minutes while the cops are in route.
Get off you high horse jackass.

No...This has nothing to do with why guns have a bad name. Guns have a bad name cause dumb people do dumber shit with them and kill kids in drive bys and pull them out and point them at people in professional sports locker rooms. Ref the bolded part of your post above- No one was shot in the making of this post btw...The gun was never even removed from the holster.

"This" is another responsible human being who happens to be a gun owner standing up for someone else. Standing up against a lowlife prick who isn't going to go complain anywhere cause he doesn't want the cops to look to closely at him or they'll figure out hes guilty as f^(k.

This isnt a dig at Packer. Just that some people have this shoot the guy attitude. Thats when people get hurt. I wouldnt want to see that other guy come back with his gun. Next thing you know there is holes in the house and possibly people. I have nothing against guns.

I'm with the minority here; Shift, 3.4L & OCTaco.

OP is damn lucky things didn't go horribly wrong. He willingly left the security of his home with a weapon to confront a bad guy. Leave this to the cops. If you want to keep an eye on the safety of the woman and infant and have a weapon on you at the time, keep your distance and stay cool and alert. Approaching the scumbag and repeatedly calling him an A-hole while carrying a gun is NOT manly. It's only escalating the situation. If you want to carry a weapon to protect yourself and the innocent, be calm and collected all the time. If you just want to teach punks lessons, leave the weapon at home - better yet, sell it to me.

Oh, and to all the 'what if' poo-pooers, there's nothing wrong with playing the 'what if' game. Considering all the different ways a situation could unfold is part of being a responsible gun owner. It's one of the ways we prepare for the unexpected and develop a proper mindset.

High horse?! Jackass?! I'm the jackass that would have to come out to your house and arrest you and your balls while you are still trying to explain to your kids that daddy killed mommy or some other innocent victim because he "had balls".
Like I said in my first post I wasn't looking for a INTERNET fight.
    I'm done I'm sorry I even started.

    And on this note....

"Closing time - time for you to go out, go out into the world.
