Asheville, NC is a really nice area i hear and Eddy moved shop to the north in Larens, SC

 

I love Asheville. But it's the boonies

You need to get out of the city area more often. When you get older you will appreciate what the boonies has to offer.

Surprising, since it's just cinderblocks held together with what looks like badly poured masonry...

Damn, I wish I'd had somewhere to set my camera so I could have gotten my rock pull on video. Would have been cooler than pictures. Longer, though. Took a few pulls and some strap repositioning to get it out.

 

It has the blue emblem, too which usually means it's a hybrid. What could go wrong with producing that thing?

 

Anyone in southern MA have an exhaust shop they'd recommend to have the driver side pipe rerouted?

I go back and forth on wanting a McFly replica truck. Some days I think it would be awesome, others I would like a variation on the theme like my old truck (the 93).

I always liked the 68 Charger better than the 69 even as much as I liked the General Lee. I liked the tail lamp treatment more on 68. I didn't like the changes in 1970.

There is a guy who drives a green 69 Charger by my house ever so often. It's that awful dark olive color with a black vinyl top and black steel wheels with a bit of a rake. I love it even though I hate the color because the ugly color somehow works perfectly on the car. I'm always amazing just how much better those cars look in person than in photos.

 

68's were definitely better. Sharper taillights, that big parachute grill, the tiny round sidemarkers.... Just perfect.



Definitely agree on the 70's. Grill wasn't bad but they had those awful huge sidemarkers mounted lower on the fenders and I think they ruined the lines.

 

Agreed. Why the Hemi over the 440 six pack? I'm not terribly up on my Mopar engine combos as far as what years but I remember hearing a 440 six pack was a faster car on the street than the Hemi.
