I bought my 2017 Tacoma 3 weeks ago and it looks as if it sits higher in the front maybe a couple inches. The prior owner did upgrades such as bigger tires I think the struts are not original they set the truck up a little higher in the front the truck has a topper on the back I would like to even it out and lift the rear any ideas would be helpful bigger rear shocks air shocks lift kit what do you think?

Leaf pack will lift the truck up in the rear. Shocks don't do anything for lift, it's more for damping purpose. Since you have a topper there's choices: All Pro, Icon, Wheeler's, and OME Dakars for leaf packs. I personal recommend the Dakars HD aka Heavy Duty for the topper.

Here's my Dakars on my truck:

    Gotta pay to play....

All that weight on a stock suspension isn't going to be good. Leaf packs is the way to go. Work smarter not harder.

Purely stock.. at least for now. I would like to replace the front/rear bumper for something sturdier, also having a nice set of bolt-on frame sliders would be good to have.
    Hey Peeps

I have a 2010 taco Trd sport dbl cab long box and I'll be installing Bilstein 5100 all around as the old shocks have seen better days..

I have recently loaded up my 2008 Polaris sportsman 500 Touring and the ass end squatted a decent bit... I want to strengthen the back end and I have spoken to Tacomaholic regarding the leaf springs, he recommended the Old Man Emu Dakar sets. I did some reading and my predicament is.. do I add a leafspring or replace the entire pack..

What are your thoughts and why?

    Thanks.
    Matt

Full pack if you are going to be carry a ton of weight. I've heard Allpro Expos are good as well. :D

Some people add the Firestone air bags to help as well.
