    True true,

    I love my SC2,

But you have almost 7-8 screens with multiple pages encoded into the MID of that cluster. I just don't think it would be worth the trouble w/out the controls for it. You would need them just to navigate to the digital speedo too. I love the utility of the SR trim but for dome reason I hate the non-symmetrical look of no controls on both sides of the steering wheel.

But my base AC 2015 has some on both sides so Toyota is always changing something it seems.

I splurged and bought rockblokz. 11/10 would buy again. They're cheaper than replacing rusty/chipped fenders

And this paint on the 3rd gens is thin. I waxed my black princess today and found several B.B. sized specks of paint gone in various places. I have the OEM mud guards. My truck stays on the asphalt but still has chigger bites as I call them.

Already have a scangauge, which is great ... but there's no TPMS readings in that. Even if there was, it would be tedious to check all 4 tires. First world problems ...

I have no -flare weathertech flaps if you're interested. I wouldn't recommend using them, as dirt collected between the flap and protective film ... rubbed a little paint off underneath.

I would have never caught it if I hadn't put flares on my truck.

    Looks real good,

Factory roof rack, TRD grill, rims look good too.

    I’d tint the windows ASAP,

Wonder if the owner is on here?

    Good afternoon fellow Sr’idians,

I know it’s been talked countless times but I ask here because you SR owners tend to be less “haters”...

So.. my birthday is coming and I thought about installing a leveling kit on my 4x2 sr... it is just about the looks.. I do NOt off-road here in Florida (only get into puddles when it rains a lot)

I’ve seen some 2” and 2.5” leveling kits.. I do NOt want to have my front higher than the back...

I’m you’re experience please advice me into this..

I know some people don’t like spacers but this is what I can afford right now and is just to level the truck so I guess it won’t damage my front suspension..

I’m open to any advice/pictures of do it or not...

    Thanks!

My advice is save your money and get the 5100's.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.. when installing the 5100 and compress more the spring to gain height don’t you loose suspension travel? And is the ride stiffer?
Do I need new springs to get a smoother ride with the new 5100?

It goes over my budget but at this point I want to understand the most of this and if the spacers harms the suspension I would not do it...

If anybody knows what wheels those are let me know! It looks great so I'd like to price them out for my truck!

He needs some heavier tint IMO.

Unfortunately if you want to have decent, then it cost some money. Do it right the first time. Use coils to lift paired with better shocks. Also a 2-2.5" lift will most likely put your front higher than the rear since RWD, AC 4cyl. UCA's would likely be needed to get optimal alignment. Spacers aren't so bad if you stay mainly on road. If it was me, at the very least I'd get coils to lift and see how the Hitachi shocks handle a stiffer coil. At least coils can be reused down the line to re-work the suspension. Regardless which way you go, alignment is needed.

    Yeah. Plug n' play really.

SR models do not have an auto setting. I can tell you that with DRL option, the parking lights are only on, not the tubes. With the Parking brake setting, the tubes and parking lights are on, like the picture above.

Has anyone gotten a little louder horn in their SR? Mine is just pathetic, I had the Hella horns in my old Tacoma but those were a little too gnarly, looking for something in between

I installed Fiamm Freeway blasters dual horns. Lots of videos of them on youtube.
