I'm starting to lean towards roxul in barndominium instead of spray foam. Closed cell is r5 per inch and roxul is r15 for 3-1/2" and cheaper. The foam was only going to be 2"

    Good Luck!
I'm going out myself tomorrow for the first time this season. It's just been way too hot and humid to hunt for the last month,IMO.
Checked the ladders yesterday and they were still there and not vandalized.
Supposed to warm up tomorrow and Sunday, getting up to 80ish.
Don't know if I want to shoot one in those conditions. Can't let it hang and have to process it right away.
Chance of showers in the morn.

Good luck. I shoot in those temps all the time. I ice the meat down with salt to pull the blood out.

It's a Northern thing I guess. I start freaking out when temps get into the 50's.

Yea my cousin hangs theirs in the basement. I've never hung one. But I keep adding ice and draining so pretty much make a light ice brine. Meat looks blanched in 4-5 days

Dump in the top, the smaller falls through and the larger rolls to the back. The wall keeps them separate.

I still have more to do besides the screen. I need to add a deflector to kick the larger rock further away when it rolls off, just deciding how I want to do it. I did add one side skirt, gotta get another 2 sheets of steel. I took that picture to show how it sits on the bucket to move it around. Not all are that mobile. But I wanted one I could move down the roads and reclaim the good material out of the berms that have been building up over the years.

One thing I never figured out is most people in this parts of the country just grade roads flat and never build them up. The rest of the world crowns their roads. When it rains here the roads are just a big water channel. So when they do road maintenance they just keep cutting deeper and deeper and keep stacking these berms along the edges. The roads I've been able to reshape are holding up good and shedding water like you'd want. This is just one more tool I now have to reclaim the material and rebuild the roads so they last.

You know what? Ours is still in perfect shape. But that thing about tempurpedic beds getting hot was what I hated. That and you couldn't roll over.

It got really really hot, and you'd get stuck and couldn't roll over. I can't count the number of times I had to actually get out of bed for 15 minutes to let it cool down.
