    This has to be the best Red Ale that I’ve had thus far. More complex than others, an almost boozy taste without being boozy. And a little citrus in there too. Curious if the AVB is actually 6.66.

    Shmaltz Brewing 838 DIPA - very malty and not very hoppy, almost like a cream ale, not a bad beer, but not what I'd expect from an IPA

    I have 5 pear trees on my property, i make some really good pear cider with champagne yeast. I bottle it in beer bottles because wine bottles explode. Its dry and bubbly and has very high alcohol content.
    makes an awesome black velvet. i make 10-30 gallons each fall depending on what my trees yield.
