    Good morning from showery southern New England.

    The remote for the cable box broke. And.... They have to send a guy to confirm and give me a new one... When I was on the phone with the rep, they asked if I changed the batteries. Told them, yes and it still doesn't work. Of course, I had to change them again and go through 20 minutes of pressing nonresponsive buttons before he said "looks like the remote needs to be replaced". Duh... Jack ass... If I could get Discovery, Velocity, History, HGTV, TVland & Food networks on line, I'd get rid of cable today.

    We haven't had satellite in ions. Cable and or fiber optic just came here this year and we declined. There's usually enough to watch on all the digital antenna channels nowadays.
    We use phone hotspot for laptop. Bought HBO app for Game of Thrones season and plug laptop into tv. Now I'm going to drop it since season is over.
