Also make sure the lifetime plan that you get doesn't have stipulations like only 4 times a year or only every 5 or 10k miles things like that. I'd have to look but I'm pretty sure I did the firestone route as well for my lifetime plan and it's got no hidden rules it's whenever I want and for whatever reason.

Good to know. Maybe their answer would have been different if they made the assumption I was bringing them a brodozer.

I'll check in with them again and specify that it will be a mild lift.

Thanks, I want to keep in under $300, so not too cheap. We use Plex through an appleTV 4k, so I can set the audio output to 2.1, 3.1, 5.1, etc. I do want something that is either expandable in the future, or has everything we need now. I have a Samsung TV that is 7 years old. It was the best of the best from Ultimate Electronics when I got it.

LG seems to make one of the best sounds bars for a decent price. Their SJ9 is more than I want to spend... but maybe.

I made a flask out of some copper sheet I had laying around. I need to work on my soldering skills but I'm happy how it came out

The hammered look is kinda cool. Just take a wire wheel to it lol. Or maybe next time braze the seams. But that might soften it too much. Looks good tho!

Haha that was way too hard to make. There is a company that makes ones similar but for a hand hammered and then aged one they are $700. I'm actually going to force age this and it will have some tarnish and then green spots. After I'll seal the whole thing.

All the LG Soundbars I've heard have been really good except for the top of the line Dolby Atmos one.

I'm actually looking for a soundbar too after realizing that my bookshelf speakers, while awesome, are not really suited for our living room. I would have to upgrade the amp and get a bigger woofer, bigger amp, worry about acoustic paneling because we'd have to put free standing speakers very close to a half wall... the list goes on. I don't even have money for a couch, so budget wise a soundbar is really gonna be the best in my place until I can drop $500+ on a receiver, and I'd rather just wait until I have a free standing house I can rattle to the foundation.:transformer:

I went and listened to a few bars, Klipsch sounds like muddy ass, so does Sony but less so. I was recommended a budget Vizio bar for like 150 but it's awfully bright sounding, like the EQ on the high frequencies is cranked beyond belief. Samsung sounded like the best bar out there, I got to listen to the HW M360, gonna try to find a demo on the HW M450 which is a little more powerful. If that's a winner, it's only $200 or so.

Oh and my TV should get delivered on Monday!:headbang: The guys who sold it to me (World Wide Stereo based out of PA) were doing an install at my parent's house, managed to get them to pick it up and air freight it to me...
I had been considering a cheap TV in the meantime but it turns out even air freight on my good TV was way cheaper! It's a 55" LG OLED TV and it is frickin' amazing.

Rough estimate 200-300 the cutting and chopping it down is easy depends on how deep the roots are then the gardners will add in there waste disposal charge for the dump so that's what I think they would say, but closer to the $200.

Yah I mean I had a full size safe estimate of a 40ft tall palm tree cut down and hauled away for like $600-700 I think it was and another time. This seems like not a lot of work besides the roots, either the cactus was huge or like you said it needed permits, a lot of cactus can be machetes down or chainsawws easily yourself.

I cut these down with a gardening hand saw in a few hours, they were a good 15-20ft tall. Then paid a Gardner to haul it away because I was lazy I think it was $100 also he chainsawed the stump down for me on 2 of them and I dug up the others.

If it's really that big as it's hard to say, just ask for $750 in concessions, I'm sure you could find someone to do it for a lot less just an actual company may want a grip load like that but a normal run of the mill guy with a small gardening business won't.

Made the gf drive her 4Runner on broken arrow today for a day messing around with my jeep buddies. IMG_1332.jpg

Her first time doing any sort of rock crawling in the bone stock T4R and she did great. No bypasses and took the few harder lines that are possible with a little spotting. Hopefully she'll get the itch and let me start modding it since I'm running out of stuff to do to the truck without taking out a second mortgage :D

If you don't mind hearing a lot of screaming and cursing (and maybe a little bit of crying) I'll do it for cheap... :spy::rofl:

I know man, they are amazing. Of course, I had been coming from a Pioneer Kuro Elite plasma that is still spoken about in hushed tones among TV nerds as far as contrast ratio goes, so it wasn't as big of a leap forwards for me.

Someone got the deal of the century on that thing. It shit the bed one day and permanently stayed in standby flashing an error code. I googled that it was a failure in one of the driver boards but I didn't want to bother opening it up. The guy who bought it from me had the troubleshooting already done and basically all he had to do was load it and pop in a new board, and he's got a $7,000 (more like $4,500 today) TV for a tiny fraction of that.
