Curious about it as well. Looks delicious.

Drew (@tacobell007) hooked me up with some stuff when we met up last night.

6 pack of this stuff. Going to try it out later when I get home from going out to dinner with some friends.

 

Nice.

 

Very nice. About as bitter as I can enjoy (do not like IPAs at all) but very well balanced with some fruity notes and even a hint of a tart aftertaste.

Put that in a glass and it may be a mind blower.
Pint glass should work.

This was actually one of the better beers I've had in a while. It tastes like someone dropped a shot of dark roast coffee or espresso in a Guinness. It's not even that heavy feeling either so it doesn't feel like you're drinking a loaf of bread.

 

Let me know how the pumpkin is

 

It's the only one I've tried that I like.

 

Trying out Southern Tier Sapsquatch barrel aged 3x. Definitely different. Was in the stout/porter section and realized when I got home that it is a barley wine at 14.9%.

 

Looking forward to your thoughts. This just came into the store and haven't had a chance to try it

I sometimes feel guilty when I drop a few bucks on a bunch a beer....then, I get home and open one. I feel much better.

Picked up some of this _______ (Blank) Brewery The Key to the Bathroom Stout...

Really digging it. "Inspiration = Apple & Cinnamon breakfast cereal that scrapes the roof of your mouth". Tastes a little like the Terrapin Cinnamon Roll'd WakeN-Bake Stout they special released back in Winter 2015. Nice flavor, thick, and 12%... My kinda stout!



And picked up a couple of 4'ers of the tried and true Founder's Breakfast stout!

 

Anyone have Curious Traveler before? I'm not a fan of shandy beers, but a guy I work with says they're not as sweet as a typical shandy.

 

Not too shabby.....
Mild roasted pumpkin seed aroma. More of a coffee flavor than pumpkin. Not really getting any pumpkin (which is good for me).
Going to let it sit a while to see what it opens up.

edit: more of the pie aroma comes through with warmth. Sweetness too. Getting some coconut.....
Bit syrupy with some heat.

 

A wee bit too much of the pumpkin here.

 

Should out to Drew (@tacobell007). About to try it out.

I think I deserve it after going to a farm with the wife, kids, my sister and her two kids.
