Like Everett said, you're doing it wrong

or just set it in the road

until you're done anyways, then she'll be carrying quite the load.....see what I did there?

taking a day off this coming week. Either wed or thur. Installing 887's. This will be the last thing done to the truck b4 the trip (besides stuffing all the gear/coolers/etc in the cab/bed)

I’ve got wood. Still a little green, but should burn fine. Thank Nate for this.

BTW.... Some of the guys that were there last year can speak to the specifics, but there is a market just east of the entrance to the park that sells firewood. It wasn't expensive. Might be easier/cheaper than buying gas to haul a load from home. Intrinsic dry firewood is scarce.

That’s cool, but I plan to just leave this in the truck and bring it along. Not sure what it is, but it isn’t so heavy.

Had to cut and cleanup some tree fall at my mothers, cost me a few extra cuts, but would have had to load it to carry to the burn pile anyway.

Bring what you have. The fire they had last year was pretty big, and they kept it going 2 nights. Used a fair bit of wood. My suggestion was directed more towards the guys who don't have a source of wood.

    Imagine....internet discussion about getting wood....:anonymous:

Discussion about meeting strangers, going camping in the backwoods of Kentucky and getting wood. :jerkoff::bananadance::militarypress::eek::duel::angrygirl::burnrubber::mudding::sandwich::cheers::puke:

Been looking forward to this trip for a while. It hasn't quite set in yet that it's almost time to roll out.

Oh, if I have the room and remember it, I'll bring my pick box. Might get drunk enought and actually play it.

Probably won't. I should sell em all

Maybe. Still haven't decided yet. It's a long haul from down here for a weekend trip. I'll let you know in a few days. But if I do I'd definitely want to convoy ☺️
