Subbed. Keep in mind, that the plastic Pro grill is STILL $400. This grill, IMO, looks better, AND, it's made out of steel. I do agree, that the RAD logo detracts from the overall design.

Is the installation pretty simple? I'm a n00b to this sort of thing. $300 seems steep, but based on other comments and checking online pricing it seems ok at $300 especially if its actually steel. Is it power coated or painted?

I'm going to try and open a group buy thread under the appropriate column.

The grill is made of steel and powder coated black.

Install is like any other aftermarket insert on this model, and requires some cutting, but it is not that difficult.

If you can all group up with at least 10, you can call into the shop and reference "TW group buy." Dan will let you all know how many have committed before he places order and payment at the discounted rate with free shipping.

Thanks for your patience guys. Sorry that I'm a little slow with this forum stuff.

    *Side note*
Is this forum always so laggy? It take forever to navigate, post, and reply.

I talked to him about the 4runner, and he has been considering it. It has looked at them, and is trying to come up with a design and strategy.

Looks like a great alternative to the pro grill. Consider me interested.

Hey guys, I posted another thread in regards to the group buy. To alleviate the headache, just call in and place an order if you're interested. Dan will be keeping track of you guys when you reference "TW group buy," and will let you know how many have called in. The grille will be $300 w/ free shipping, according to him, as long as 10+ order.

The bends weren't quite 100% flush, but it's looks pretty great regardless. Definitely liking the new look -

How was the install, did you have to do any cutting or did you just have to unbolt the old and bolt in the new?

You have to cut out the center of the insert, sand it down, and drill 8 holes into the plastic to attach the RAD grill.

I used a Dremmel to do all the cutting and sanding. It's not ideal, but it's not too terribly difficult as long as you take your time.
