Pens/Lightning was a very entertaining game! Nice pace. Probably not the tightest game you will ever see, defensively, but that was kind of cool. Pens still give up way too many high-quality opps. The bad part is, Niemi isn't going to battle through that like Murray (or MAF, when he was here) would. They are going to have to learn to seal up a bit when Murray isn't in especially (but overall). Niemi actually had a bunch of nice saves, just didn;t get that extra one. Sadly, unless it was someone like Murray, you prob aren;t getting that save, for how bad the D looks. Tighten it up, boys.

Went to the Sens vs Flames game tonight. 6-0 win, Sens came to play. 1/5 of the crowd were sens fans. A real fun time.

 

I believe @Sterdog was also there but on the wrong end of the scoreboard.

 

No. He was on the right side of the scoreboard.

 

Well hes a leafs fan so hes technically always on the wrong side of the scoreboard.

 

I thought he was a Flames fan. I am a Oiler fan.
But like the start of every Season. Leaf fans are saying it's their year this year.

 

After game 1 they had their parade route planned. Its the same every year. Leafs usually start off the season decently. Just wait till February where they go on a 15 game losing skid and fall back to reality.

Can't blame them. I guess that when they win regular season games it must seem like they won a playoff game. They have been pretty atrocious for years.

 

They win a couple of preseason games and can't stop talking about their upcoming playoff run.

From what I've seen there's always more butthurt Leafs haters talking about parade planners than actual parade planners lol. I wonder when you kids will wake up to the fact that the Oilers fans talk way more about winning a cup at the start of every year than any other fan base.

My dad is a Sens fan so I took him to the game. My company has tickets 5 rows up behind and slightly to the left of the Flames bet. Calgary looks horrid this year. Outstanding goaltending up until that Sens game had covered up their weaknesses.

 

Lol not even close to 1 in 5, maybe 1 in 50.
