I'm moving from a 2007 Tacoma Pre-Runner (still for sale) to a 2017 TRD Pro. I purchased it from a guy in MO (found it on eBay) after he owned it for 1.5 months and 3,000 miles. It was delivered on Tuesday and I'm out of town until this Tuesday, so haven't had a chance to even check it out yet. My buddy took receipt of it for me and is going to install a couple mods before I get home. Just wanted to share a pic he sent me from delivery...excited to have joined this group.

He's similar to me in that he switches cars often. He had ordered a Pro a while back and when it came in, the city he lived in had bad flooding and the TRD Pro he ordered was ruined. He bought a different car, but kept his name on the list for a TRD Pro and decided to buy when the new (second) one came in. He drove it on two long distance trips (from MO to TN and from MO to NC) and didn't need it.

I've driven a 3rd gen. I don't think I'm as picky about drivability of my daily driver/car as most and my experience was that it was more enjoyable than the 2nd generation, but that also has to do with the fact that the interior on that is 10 years dated vs this one. I usually have multiple cars at a time and care about weekend car's drivability, but not what I'm using to go to/from work which is what this truck will be for.

Have some parts on order and plan to keep this as a clean, OEM+ looking car with a set of Volk TE's coming in that are the only thing that will be obviously not OEM.
