    People ship wheels all the time. The easiest way is to ship the wheels only, no tires in 4 separate boxes. Then you are only looking at about $40 shipping to continental US.

    You're correct, looks like shipping rates will range from $40-$50 per wheel. This is assuming a package weight around 24-25 lbs (wheels are just over 23lbs), and package size around 17x17x9. I don't have the original boxes, so my assumption is I will either get some from the tire shop or will have to use the boxes from the replacement wheels.

    If they can be shipped to a business address then money can be saved there.

    So far the cheapest method (no pun intended) is via FedEx, specifically, shipping to a business address.
